Aachen, August 2020 – Dr. Roland Schlager was elected as new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of aixigo AG. At the same time, Martin Kölsch is leaving the Supervisory Board of the internationally leading software provider for digital services in wealth management after almost 16 years due to age.
Dr. Roland Schlager is co-founder and Managing Director at 2i international, a member of the industrial advisory board of DZ Bank and member of various other supervisory boards. At 2i he is responsible for the units Turn Around and Business Acceleration. "I consider aixigo to be on the threshold of the next major stage of development. Such a development is particularly appealing, but sometimes it is also associated with growth pains. This is precisely where I want to contribute my experience from over 100 projects with companies in similar starting positions," says Dr. Roland Schlager.
"We are very pleased that we were able to win Dr. Schlager as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of aixigo. It is extremely important that such people with outstanding expertise in our industry are continuously available to advise aixigo," said Erich Borsch, member of the Executive Board.
Martin Kölsch has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2004. With his experience from 9 years as a member of the Management Board of Bayerische Hypotheken- und Wechsel-Bank (later HypoVereinsbank AG) and his role as co-founder and member of the Management Board of Fidor Bank, he has also played a significant role in shaping the development of aixigo AG. "His professional expertise in the banking business has been of enormous importance to aixigo throughout this time. He has always played an active role, just as it is exemplary for a supervisory board that is truly interested in the development of a company. Mr. Kölsch has always placed great emphasis on fundamental values such as honesty, decency, trust and respect. These values still characterise aixigo today, and have helped make our company what it is today," says the outgoing Supervisory Board Chairman and co-founder Prof. Dr. Rüdiger von Nitzsch.
Rüdiger von Nitzsch and Urs Ehrismann continue to be members of the Supervisory Board.
